The furniture of the franchise

The Regulars

The recurring props and house lore preserved on the current built board.

Props that come back season after season, until they don't. These carry no signal about this year's twist: they are the furniture of the franchise, and they are here because feeders would notice if they weren't.

๐Ÿˆ Louise

Funky Retro Louise CBS
  • The house has kept a cat since at least BB24. A bulbous, side-eyeing statue the set decorator found in a Long Beach thrift shop, back every season repainted and hidden somewhere new. Feeders say the houseguests named her Louise in BB25, and the name stuck.
  • Feeders filed her missing the night before the premiere and filed for four more weeks. There is cat-head neon in the workshop and a company called Meow Meow on the blueprints, and the one cat that has always been in this house was the one nobody could find.
  • She is in the HOH room. Calico this year, side-eye intact. Four weeks of missing-cat reports, and she was sitting in the one room the whole house is trying to get into.

๐Ÿ”‘ The keys, and where they went

  • A yellow rotating Big Brother key wheel: a grey inner ring numbered 1 to 13, with green-and-white houseguest keys standing upright in slots around the outer rim
Thirteen numbered slots, a key in each. This is what the memory wall used to be. CBS
The memory wall used to run on keys. Every photo sat behind one and the HOH turned them at the nomination ceremony until the last faces left were the nominees.
  • Louise wore one in BB27. A key on a red collar, in the season whose theme was built on a skeleton key. Feeders spent the house reveal joking about stealing it, and then Kelley did it โ€“ took the key off her and hid it in with her clothes. It never opened anything. The season's one skeleton key turned out to be set dressing.
